In the third quarter of 2024, the top social networking applications in Saudi Arabia showed varied performance trends on the unified platform, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Telegram Messenger experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, starting from approximately $24.7K in early July and reaching about $50.1K by the end of September. Weekly downloads surged mid-quarter, peaking at around 169K in early September, while weekly active users consistently rose, reaching over 8.1M by the quarter's end.

Threads showed a steady climb in weekly downloads, beginning at roughly 51.1K and rising to approximately 98.2K by late September. Weekly active users also increased, starting at 656K and ending the quarter at around 720K.

WhatsApp Messenger maintained a consistent growth in weekly downloads, which began at about 90K and peaked at over 117K in early September. The weekly active users showed a steady upward trend, closing the quarter with nearly 14.8M users.

Facebook recorded a gradual increase in weekly revenue, starting at $24.3K and reaching $35.3K by the end of the quarter. Downloads were relatively stable, averaging around 126K, while the weekly active users remained consistently high, concluding the quarter with approximately 12.5M users.
